Seymour Pink has been selected by local Big Y store leadership as the benefiting non-profit in the Community Bag Program for the month of October! The Big Y Community Bag Program is an easy way for shoppers to give back to the local community and the environment as part of the regular shopping routine. Every $2.50 reusable Community Bag sends a $1 donation to a non-profit local to the Big Y in which it was purchased. As part of this ongoing program, every month at every Big Y location a different local non-profit is selected to benefit from the sale of the reusable Community Bag. Seymour Pink was selected as the October beneficiary in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month by local store leadership at the stores located at 1060 West Main St, Branford CT and 1289 Foxon Rd / Rte 80, North Branford CT. We were excited to unveil the design of our 2022 Seymour Pink shirt last Monday at our 13th Annual Pasta Dinner. Each year we hold a contest for Seymour students to design our shirt, with very little criteria other than, our Seymour Pink logo has to be incorporated into their design. This year’s creative artist was Seymour High School freshman Maggie Sudimick – her design selected for the 2022 Seymour Pink shirt! Her design includes a community backdrop of buildings and houses with people hand in hand walking together and the words Hope, Strength, and Courage featured in a circular ribbon surrounding the design. Short Sleeve, Long Sleeve, and Youth shirts are available for sale at our Seymour Pink Shop during regular business hours.
