Why We’re Here:

Keep in mind every loved one or stranger who has heard the words ‘You have breast cancer’ as you make your way around the race route. Every step you take gives HOPE to those in the fight.

Take a quiet moment Saturday morning and visit the Prayer Sanctuary at Seymour Congregational Church. Please use the space for prayer and peace on a day that may bring alot of different emotions. Prayer candles will be located in the sanctuary & prayer request cards will also be available to those who would like to be added to SCC’s Prayer List.

Our survivors are honored with a pre-race breakfast, put on by Chrissy’s Angels in memory of Christina Kosko and you’ll see them on the course in special brighter pink shirts and sashes
We honor our Top 10 Breast Cancer Survivors following the race. Be sure to stick around for this and other awards!

We also present the Fight & Win award to honor special survivors each year. This will take place after the race.

On the Course:

View the course map here.

Reminder…there is NO SAME DAY registration. Encourage friends or family who inquire about the race these last few days to come cheer you on as a spectator this year.

Help us prevent race bandits!  You must have a bib on in order to be on the course.

We reserve the front of our start line for our running participants.  If you are walking the course please move to the back of the starting area, for your safety and the safety of our runners.  We know many of you registered on teams and may want to be together, however there is plenty of time for that before or after the race.

Reminder: There are no pets allowed on the course.  Strollers are only allowed for walkers and should be at the back of the start line. Learn more here.

Ansonia Cheer will encourage you at the start!

Keep an eye out for decorations – the Neighborhood Decorating Contest draws some fierce competition on the race route

You’ll pass 2 water stations on your 3.1 mile route

Thank you to Haptic Sense – they’ll be playing on Derby Avenue as you make your way back to the finish line!

Photographers will be capturing some images throughout the day – be sure to say cheese!

LOST AND FOUND will be at the 5K Information booth.

SpectatorsWe welcome and encourage spectators out on the course and at our finish line.  If you are gathering near the finish line please be mindful that runners will be coming full speed ahead – stay ON THE OUTSIDE of the security fencing and stay out of the race chute!

Wear pink, bring your voices and come cheer on our 2,000+ live participants this year.

Results & AwardsThe Live Leaderboard for results will be on our RunSignUp page here.

*Set up alerts for finishers or yourself by typing in their name or bib # and entering your email here.
